Reclaim Your Promises

Claim His promises in your prayers
God gives us His will by thousands of promises made in the Bible! Consider two of them: “And my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4: 19).What do you need? Food? Clothing? On the job? Ask Him! He promised to meet all your needs, but you must do your part! What did Jesus say? “Ask, and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened” (Matthew 7: 7). As long as you ask God that His will be done – the Siena and not yours – He will supply your needs according to His promises!
There are needs that we are not always aware of, such as that of being back on the right track we can be ruled out. A correction we may need. We can be assured that our Lord will guide us as we go back on the right track. It may be that sometimes it is painful, but it is always for our good (see Hebrews 12).
If we want to experience the power of prayer – seeking God’s will – it will be our priorities straight. Do you know your priorities in life? Do you know what the purpose of your life? In the sixth chapter of Matthew, Jesus said that God will meet our needs, but we have a role to play: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you” (Matthew 6: 33). What were the “things” that Jesus was referring? These are all physical needs that are often worried because we do not trust God. Jesus rebuked the people for their fearful anxiety: “If God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he clothe you even more so, of little faith? “(Matthew 6: 30).
That is correct! It is not necessary to worry about! God gave us the wonderful promise by seeking first the kingdom of God, we will establish a close relationship with our Father in Heaven and His Son – our Savior – Jesus Christ. God knows what we need, but He asks us to learn to trust Him and depend on Him.
On the dollar, we find the following inscription: “In God we trust. “Can we live with trust in this simple and profound motto?
